They are water proof and can be removed for washing if needed . Don't put them in a dryer and they will be just fine. Fit very tight and look good. Bought them to protect the original leather and it still looks good. SOR's claims are accurate.
X2. I have the SOR covers in brown and they fit nice and tight, and wear well. Four years of use now and they still look good. The pics on SOR's website show them accurately.
The brown matches the brown/tan interior well, and it hides dirt pretty good too. But, I do think the darker color makes the interior get a little hotter. if I had to do it again I might get the tan ones, and wash them more often.
Check Spector Off Road covers. I have them and they are waterproof and very tough and durable. You can buy cheaper one's but these are an excellent choice.
I'd love to see some pictures of the SOR covers in a 100!
@Luke111 I appreciate the pic but that's for marketing purposes, I wanna see them in a rig someone paid money for.
Usually they are different, I just need some good references to what they may look like in my LC before I drop some coin.
Great idea @Keowee on adding some thickness to the armrests before installing the covers.
Thank you for the CoverKing review! I am considering going with CoverKing but hadn't pulled the trigger because I couldn't find an example of them in the 100. Looks like they fit really well.I've had the Coverking tactical molle kryptec highlander on the front seats for a year or so. Autoanything had a discounted price at that time. They are a good tight fit on the seats and headrests.
The armrest covers are a loose fit so I wrapped the armrests with a microfiber towel and slid the covers over that. Gives them a comfortable padded feel.
The molle storage takes up a good amount of knee space in the middle row seats if that matters to you and they cost less without it.
The side coverage is just long enough to cover the seat bottom. The material is stiff so sliding in and out will feel different than the leather does.
Overall they are well made and should last a long time.
Thanks for the good pictures, if you could do it again would you get tan or brown?
I didn't mean two different products per sey, just meant I've never been impressed with the representations of a seat cover based on the actual website for that seat cover. Because they are new and tight I guess.
Even when I had Wet Okoles on my first Tacoma, I waited until I could see pictures of the actual color and pattern on a truck in person before I was sold. Helped too that TacomaWorld has tons of posted pics. Went with CoverKing on my current Taco, not to impressed but for what they are they work.
Not knocking anything, just always appreciated real world pictures especially after a cover has been in place for a while. Not just new and snug on a seat.
I have seen a set in person on an 80 series and they were very tight and seemed legit. I just can't bring myself to get a membership as it's the only thing I'll probably ever purchase from SOR.
I'm leaning towards a set from Marathon I think.
Bringing this thread back. Looking for covers now too. Do the Wet Okole hold up as well as the SORs? I'm looking at marathon too. More pics of in use covers would be great... the more pics the merrier!
