Is this going to be a problem when I put it back together? I needed a bigger hammer

Yup. Both. Man I hate being stupid

You do know how to get the cone washers out, yeah?

No need to live up to your name bud.

You definitely need new studs.

I’m about an hour and half from you and have an extra set of studs (and hubs if those didn’t survive) you can have if you feel like making the trip.

Yes

Knowing it’s stupid is called learning 😂 I have to say this in the mirror daily.

Go to the tool store and get yourself a set of brass punches/drifts…simplest, invaluable tool.
Tap the tip of those studs with a BRASS drift and the hammer you already know how to use LOL and the cone washers will pop out (usually). 🍻

Yeah I just tapped the end of the studs and out they came. Had no idea these studs were replaceable. Thought I had to get a new hub. Frankly I can’t get the rotor off of the hub either. I have a rebuild kit and new rotors already so looks like I will need a new hub. Man I’ll drive to you. I’ll shoot you a dm. Thanks!

Bought the brass drifts today but they were too thin so I just wailed on it with the hammer.

This was the biggest drift Napa had online or in the store. My aim is bad I guess.

When I saw that photo and read this I said to myself "Man, I betcha that guy's from Texas." Don't take it personally, I'm from Texas too. lol
Glad we have a reputation I guess…. Better than being from Oklahoma…. Sorry to all my yankee northern neighbors. Yeah I’m definitely not a mechanic but I’m doing my best here.

Leave a nut threaded onto the studs to protect the threads...
Thought about that but I was too lazy to go find a new nut since these are the cute helmeted ones. I hate to live and learn. Back to banging on this hub I guess

This is how you (properly) pop the cones out without damage to the studs/hub surface, using a brass drift:
I also spray them down for a day or so with PB Blaster before whacking.

The rotors are held on to the hub with two bolts accessed thru the back AND the wheel studs. Wheel studs have to be pressed or hammered out .... If you don't have a press might be best to take to a machine shop to have the rotors fitted. Wheels studs are still available from Toyota. If you bugger them, DON'T use the aftermarket, they don't fit right.

Good timing. Just bought all 12 studs from Napa where I got the rotors. Kinda thought they would be universal. I usually buy aisin or Toyota but not this time. Hmmm. I need a bigger brass drift.
