will a 3vz run with the afm unplugged and the fuel pump jumpered?

i want to call out an "internet expert" but idk with 100% certainty.
my knowledge/gut says no but ive never attempted, or had a reason to.

You are in luck brother my truck is in the driveway and I'm loading some junk to be hauled out. Give me a few minutes and I will find out but my gut tells me it will try to run but not for long.

@gnob It started and idle for two seconds and stalled, I did it several times and outcome is the same but it didn't set off my CEL.

The last time I tried running my 22re with the AFM unplugged the engine would idle, but not run under throttle.
