|Once together and everything hooked up, if the steering wheel resists turning right and will go left on its own, valve problemin the pump??

possible reversed lines, but my guess is you are testing with the drag removed...should only move at full lock if it's disconnected...

also possible there is air in the system....if you are SURE the lines are correct, hook the drag back up, get the axle on jackstands, and go lock to lock with the motor OFF.

On Jack stands, evething hooked up including drag link.

Not sure the lines are correct, will swap them this morning.

Thanks guys.

It takes a long time to get all the air out of the system. Best bet is to disconnect the ram at the tie rod and turn it full lock while running and make sure the ram travels the right direction. I bled my system for around 45 mins when I first installed it. I swore I screwed something up because it had no assist still after all that time. Came home from work the next day and miraculously everything worked just as it should.

The rule of thumb I got from PSC was that the connection closest to the driver went to the ram side closest to the driver. (Assuming a Sag PS box.)

True or False?

Picture is worth a 1000 words, so is a google search ;)
