best hi steer...4x4 labs. search and you'll find lots of info

new centers for rims...stockton, but you'll pay for it.

Ok yes ive heard of JTs gears, now are they a us gear or which brand does he do for the 60s. Does 4x4 labs have a website or anyone know of the price and i just called stockton and yes lol you will pay for it. Im better off getting new wheels for this or some marsh beadlocks. Thanks

X3 on Marlin's kit. Set up was as easy as could be expected. I've taken it apart several times for various reasons over the last 4 years and I've had no problems. Everything is real beefy too.
Those 4x4 labs arms look pretty sweet though. Cool design.

Thanks for the links. I guess i have the later kit since i just got it yesterday right? Did you get the shackle reversal with it?

Marlin - Hi-steer/tierod/draglink/FJ80 ends/pitman arm/stabilizer
RuffStuff - hangers/anti-wrap
MAF 4+(Dave Gore) - perches/add-a-leaf/spring plates
Spectrac(local) - U-bolts
Machinewave - 4.88 gears(Precision Gear)/Aussie locker
Cruiseroutfitters - Axle/knuckle rebuild parts
Ford Dealership - Front shock tower
Toyota(recycled) - lower shock mounts/shackle hanger frame tube

Ordering parts had it's challenges, but I am extremely pleased with all of the above vendors.

Good luck on your build!

Thanks a bunch. I got everything from Ruff Stuff except shock brackets but they are on there way. My hy-steer is probably goin to be marlin crawler cause of price but i kinda like 4x4 labs because the movement of the tie rods. And after all this im doin some chromoly so ill get the rebuild gasket stuff then. But thanks for the help and i will start on pulling the axles tomorrow to clean them up.

I'm currently in the middle of my first SOA, I went with all-pro's hy-steer.

All Pro Off Road

You know I didn't know what was better, the 4x4 labs or the All Pro kit. I decided on the 4x4 labs due to the fact that the steering componenets appeared to be forged or billeted which is stronger.

Oh, just found out when I called to order my SOA kit from Proffitt's Cruisers that they offer a Hy-Steer kit using All-Pro parts and their own. So I went ahead and ordered it all together to save on shipping, and hassle. Just FYI

I ahve Luke (4x4 Labs) on my FJ40.5 Extended Cab project.

It has 4x4 Labs high steer set up and Ruff Stuff SOA kit. It is a 60 frame and axles.

Take some pictures and keep us up to date, I plan on posting some of the SOA work that I'm doing as well. I went with Cruiser outfitters for my cut and turn and ruff stuff for all the perches and shock mounts, I ordered some shop hoops just to give it a little different look, matching my buddies SOA 60:wrench:
