Does anyone happen to know how much does a stripped FJ55 body weigh?
No Chassis, body only.

Yes. Doors and glass no seats , no hood, no front fenders…

any idea?
I did Not think this was such a tricky question for the mud guys.

Just a guess, not including : hood , front fenders, seats, engine, trans, transfer case, 2000 pounds.

With engine and transfer case 3000 pounds. The engine weighs about 600 pounds, maybe slightly more.

I just stripped a 45 wagon down to body only no doors no glass just s shell and it took 6 of us to pick it up so we kinda figured about 700 lbs. or so. I would be guessing but I’ll bet your in the 1100 lb range
