How many daily drivers out there?

Yep, I DD mine as well. Just rolled 175k last week. 35 miles round trip plus road trips, camping, etc. My wife has a '17 4Runner which we have been using a lot on the weekends recently though. Most of my maintenance expenses have been preventative or just normal wear parts. I average around 15mpg in the summer.
True, the mpg isn't amazing but it's worth it to be driving a big, extremely comfortable, off-road capable, and unique vehicle.

As much as I love driving my 100, the gas price is killing me here in California. 91 octane is $3.80 to $4.00! And I am mostly in stop and go traffic. So I'm averaging 10-11MPGs. *sigh* #rant

Yes, daily driver.
285k Runs good.

Mostly goes from house to airport and then home.
But wouldn’t hesitate to take it anywhere.

Yep daily driver in my 01 LC presently about to turn 283,000, 100-150 miles a day when I get out on the road. Sure gas mileage could be better, but you cant experience a 100 series if 20 - 25 mpg is your goal. Besides I just cleaned my MAFS.... The :princess: DD's our 15 T4R limited. I'd say I will inherit the 4runner one day, but only if the LC is put out of commission

I dunno... maybe move?

edit.. I know.. kind of obnoxious. I live near Syracuse, NY, where we get an absolute butt-load of snow, and temperatures the locals think are really cold.. down near 0 deg F once in a while. Used to live where it got down to 35 below F frequently, so the cold is.. well.. balmy to me, but yeah, we get a lot of snow. Everyone here complains about it. Ummm... stupid? If you hate it, move. I LOVE it.

Good ol' fashioned New England DD here. 173k miles and counting averaging 40ish a day. I still haven't calculated gas mileage, and refuse, as to stay blissfully ignorant, especially for when the mods start piling on. I can't totally complain about the gas prices here (~2.80 for 87 Octane LIC), but MA f**** you in every other direction as far as cost of driving goes, so I guess it makes up.

I own 5 vehicles at the moment, im a hoarder. I pick the ride depending on the weather, traffic pattern, and overall mood.

However i find myself driving either the LX or LC more than the others.

DD here, averaging about 12k a year, but mostly on highway for long(er) trips.
And when my sons visit, they like to borrow. 3 tons of good ride, nothing like any of the vehicles they own.

2001 LX 470 is my daily driver and only vehicle. My wife's Honda is almost-new though, so at least we have one car that will always be 100%.

I daily drive my 06 TLC with 165k miles. I do about 60 miles a day. It has a sensor lift plus 305/65/18 KO2s and that’s it. I feel like it could go forever.

I do seem to drive my LX more and more though. At this point it’s probably about 60/40 split. I get almost the same gas mileage with the built LX as I get with the 06o_O

Dd'd mine from 137k to 165k. Realized i wanted to keep it forever and the simple fact that after lifting, tires, worrying about dings and damage from daily use etc and having a longer commute, i ended up buying an 05 Ls430 for daily duties. Plus I never found the seat to be very comfortable.

20+ mpg, cooled seats, cheap entry price, supremely comfy seats and the ability to drive at 80mph without breaking a sweat made pulling the trigger much easier.

06 LC 100 with 125K miles, 16 BMW X3, and two vintage 911’s is in my stable. Since I bought the Cruiser in January its been my DD. My X3 doesn’t get much love these days as I find the 100 to be more a comfortable ride. Obviously, the X3 handles much better and the tech is better, but dang, I like the Land Cruiser.

Damnit now I want a LS to replace my wife’s MDX. Thanks again ‘mud.

DD my 2nd LC in two years. First was great and did 20k in one year...second is even better and already put 9k on since buying early spring.

10-11 MPG in urban Austin streets. My wife sees the MPG readout every day and says nothing ... I don’t know of any higher endorsement from that woman!

My '99 LC has been a DD since acquisition in January of 04. Given it rolled off the production line in 11/98, it has averaged 43 miles per day of driving pleasure over the years. Last week, it was fun having my daughter(learner's permit) drive it through the carpool line at school as we picked up her younger teenage brother. This LC brought him home as a baby from the hospital, and she was dropped off at age two at the same school for preschool in it. But alas, it's my Cruiser, and they will have to acquire their own. ;)

DD to school 2 miles away, and planning to get the OME 2.5 inch lift weeks coming :). I average 11 mpg. Hurts a bit but it’s worth it knowing I drive a tank to school.

Daily driving 100s since July 2007, first only the 'Melon, now I alternate between the it and Luna to spread the miles out. Don't know what the fuel economy is (other than it's better in Luna since she's much lighter), don't really care, not why I drive Land Cruisers. By the way, I've been daily driving Land Cruisers since August of 1988, uninterrupted (44, 60, 62, 70, 75 & 100 series)! :)
