The masks have been very useful while working on old drum brakes on the 1963 fj40! Ha!
otherwise mesa life as usual.

Things are good up here. The kids are sure bored. My youngest daughter told me she hadn't been anywhere since this whole thing started so I took her to Tractor Supply the other day. It was an exciting trip.

I drove 15 miles to the office last week. Farthest from the house I've been in 6 weeks.
Kids are a bit frustrated about the school situation, but they are almost over it.
I've grown to like the simplicity. Work long days from home, go to the park with the family every evening for fun and exercise, and have time to cook. Do a little jogging or mtb'ing on the trails by the house. Looking forward to a couple days off this week.

David... are you guys back in Santa Fe or in ABQ now?

I don't like the reduced productivity of working from home but I sure like sleeping in until 7 since I don't have any commute time and am less compelled to take a shower every day, saving a good couple of hours of my day.

try doing it with 3 boys under 10, or is your new honey-do list worse?

Honey-do list tasks only happen on Fri - Sun. I'm getting an extra hour or two sleep but I'm still the first person awake by a good hour. Of course my youngest kid is 17.

Got back in town a few weeks ago, just waiting for work to start. Been wheeling a lot (and breaking a lot) since then.

Well, It's been almost a year since this whole thing started.

Everyone doing good?

Been very blessed not to have lost work or been infected.
You doing ok @Mauser ?

Been good, thanks. Got lots of projects keeping me busy.

My son is sure excited to be going back to school (somewhat) on Monday.

We are doing ok! I switched jobs twice, started grad school, redone the suspension and tinkered a ton. I got to spend a TON of time with the little one, and we even got potty-training out of the way! The wife is doing great! We had the bug just before the holidays. In all, it has been an incredibly rewarding year for the household. We count ourselves among the extremely fortunate.

We can’t wait to get back out there with you guys!

Still employed and family is healthy. Haven't seen my dad who only lives 40 miles away in 6 months though. My son pretty much quit college because online doesn't work for him. Maybe he'll go back in the fall if they bring in person classes back.

Teenage daughter is struggling with online high school as she misses her peeps and the usual social interactions. Screen time is way more intense and getting her to engage has been a challenge. I can't wait for the temps to get warm so we can go camping and disconnect her from the grid.

As for me, I like working from home while going into work in the PMs few times a week to get my social interactions as well as proper ergonomics at the office!!

Overall, we're blessed to have a shelter, good health and an income stream. 🙏

We are doing well. I work on site 5 days a week ~11 hours a day, so I still get to interact with people. I really don't miss much aside from leaving the state to go fishing without having to do a 14 day quarantine but it is what it is.

Life is dandy. I'm looking forward to warmer weather. Between the cold and the Covid, it's giving me time to plan adventures for once it warms up. Did you know you can ship your truck to Chile for $1,500?

We are doing well. Knocking off household chores, getting organized for camping when the weather warms up. Retirement has been good to us. Trying to make every day count.
Looking forward to warm weather!!

We're doing fine. Just spent the month of January at our place in Boulder City. Got out to Lake Mead a few times. Did a few trails which was very nice! Been fortunate to stay healthy. Cant wait for the warmer weather!

We are enjoying Tucson about as much as we thought we would 👎. I have not had much time or well rested periods to get any meaningful work done on the 4runner. We took a trip to Durango over Christmas and almost hit 40 elk. We've also been over Redington Pass in Tucson and gone up to the peak of Mt. Lemmon...I'm hoping to pull it together and get some maintenence performed before summer. I'm looking forward to the second trip to Ouray with the club. It's big driving factor in my motivation this year. Sarai just started her career in Arizona and we will be planted here for two more years minimum. Not sure if we should buy a house or keep burning our money handing it to the landlords...all in all I'm maintaining my status as a Burqueño and getting ready to plant green chiles next week from Sandia Seed Company. There's a ton of work to do before August and I'm just trying to keep my head on straight through the changes, pandemic or not.
