I know someone knows this, i searched and cannot find the info anywhere. How heavy is the 2f engine? The whole thing, fan to flywheel, valve cover to oilpan. I am thinking of getting one rebuilt that i found online, and need to figure out $$$ shipping.

I am not postive, but I believe it is about 800lbs

If you can have it shipped forward air it is not that much to ship. Around $150, I think. 800lbs may be a little heavy, but it should be close. The shipping bill on mine stated 500 lbs, but I don't believe it. I would think closer to 700.

I agree. Obviously makes a difference if you are talking long block or short. I think they said 750# for my long block.

...PS....Alert

Just checked at SOR and they say 600# for their used long blocks.
