OBDII is the obvious difference. How much else is different? I imagine theres the post Cat o2 sensor, but is there any parts I would have to switch off of the blocks, assuming everything else is kept the same? I tried looking for an answer on here, but I couldn't find the thread that I am sure has been posted already. TIA

EDIT: NM, I found the answer, MAF VAF etc.

If you are keeping the later OBDII ECM, you will need to swap the oil pan with crank sensor (earlier engines don't have it). and the EGR valve for the sensor.

You would need to replace the timing chain cover so you can running a crank position sensor, and you would need the crank pulse disk

You won't be swapping the power train. The above advice will, however, let you run the older engine with the obd2 system
