Horn/radio won’t work and my signal fuse blows everytime I signal to the right

I had a bad ground in the taillight harness that runs along the under rear sill. Caused all sorts of issues. I had melted that harness with my exhaust and repaired it in a big rush at night which caused my issue though. I’ve never had an issue with OEM wiring that hasn’t been modified in these trucks other then main battery grounds.
I’d be highly suspect of trailer wires.

One thing that does bother me is a JANKY security alarm someone installed long ago everything worked as advertised up until now so I didn’t mess with it but I’m thinking this could be a culprit

So I have a slightly janky trailer harness and a massively janky alarm system

I really think this is in the right track I replaced the horn/hazard fuse and the radio alone with the horn were fixed but the only thing now has to be something along this harness or at the switch you sent a photo of has a short I don’t see any bare wire but I’m trying to get the connector removed so I can maybe test for resistance at each wire and see if it’s there if not it would be farther down the line I’d assume
The G-O wire (hazard power) is top right in the blue plug (with the green wires to the right) and the green/yellow (the right turn signal wire) will be diagonally across from it. You can test these two pins for continuity without removing the switch.

I see green wires (turn signal and horn wires) in that alarm system harness...if they tried to tie in the horn wire as well this may be where your problem is. The problem with trying to tie the horn circuit into this is that the horn wires going from horn to horn switch (g-w) act like hot wires until the horn button is pushed they turn negative and ground out on the column. trying to attach them to an alarm and ground them through the alarm isn't going to work.

My issue now is how to correctly remove all the funky wiring added for this awful system they added

Follow each wire from the alarm to where it connects and disconnect it and make sure the wire that they connected to is still good or cut it and solider the wire back together and put heat shrink over the connection. I can't tell you how many alarms i have installed worked in the car audio buissness for years.

Update**** found the issue I followed my trailer hitch harness in my rear left quarter panel and chased the WRONG wire. The first time i inspected for shorts I chased the tail break wire for the hitch harness instead of the right hand signal wire.....lesson learned make sure you chase the CORRECT WIRE!

That bolt and nut look very new. Did you install that recently in the quarter panel? Is it part of the interior panel you were putting in?
Yep pretty embarrassing I looked all over the inside and I looked at the harness but I didn’t see that wire tucked into the back bottom corner between the washer and the panel I installed......i knew it had to have something to do with the panels I had just installed but I could not for the life of me see that single wire sandwiched in the very back. Lesson learned check very closely next time and follow my wires more carefully
