I remember when you built all that. I know Steve who has the BJ60. Wondered what he was up to with a hood request.Wow. What a great idea. It’s hard to make improvements without changing the factory look and this does both. My setup dropped temps but the size of my intercooler was responsible for most of it. There’s always pros and cons with each set up.
A front mount is great for 4WDing but run the risk of a stick or branch piercing it along with mud getting caught in fins. Also the amount of pipe work can create turbo lag.
A top mount like mine negates all those problems but at low speeds (4WDing) the airflow drops off. This is why my intercooler is 600x400x75mm and little pipe work needed.
My water temp and EGTs are very consistent no matter what I’m doing.

It's that conundrum of poor airflow over the hood of a truck with steep windshield. Steve did the wool test, which was very cool.
Your scoop is pretty big, so it's different again. Both systems have me rethinking cooling my engine compartment with my 60.
I'm certainly not getting cool enough temps that I'm happy with. Figured if I didn't point it out you might miss it and I didn't want that.
PS still have that chrome grill in a box, but got to find a less expensive way to get it there, but its coming! LOL
