Hood bumper

I'm trying to find out if there is some sort of bumper available for the hood to rest on when open all the way to the windshield frame. I've searched the threads and can't find much. I know I can cut a hose and slip it on the gutter, but I thought I saw somewhere a manufactured part for this.

You are correct there is a little white rubbery plastic piece. I have a couple but can’t remember the part number. Someone will have it.

Try a dealer with this part number. Bought a few of them back in 2011. Number was still good then.

Started with the '81 model. Looks like it would go in the middle of the front drip molding.

Always threw up an old towel or sheet to protect the hood and top. Good info!

The cushion is pretty wimpy. I toss a folded old washcloth up there before opening the hood....and then I drive away after closing the hood and find the washcloth in my yard.
