Holy crap. Just bought TWO HJ47s!

Yeah...I'm nuts, but I couldn't resist! I went to Australia for my honeymoon in December and when i got back I pulled the trigger on a couple of HJ47 Land Cruisers!

Here's the first one--1982, 2H turbo diesel, A/C, twin fuel tanks, twin water tanks, dual batteries, Fairey overdrive, front discs, rear full floater axle, etc.

You plan to fix them up and re-sell, or add them to your herd? That one looks like a buildable truck for sure...

Oh man, expedition build most likely, possibly sell one but which one?? It'd be hard! Prolly give to an editor to build and use, I'm not sure yet.

Nice!!!!! Looks like you got a couple of nice trucks!! I'd get them fixed down there if they need anything. Got my 5 speed rebuilt for cheap before it was shipped here. Exchange rate is fantastic!! I'd buy 2 5 speeds before they ship. Sell the H41s that are in them for good $$$ here (granny gear is a big bonus) Would prolly cover the costs of the 5 speeds.

I would pack them as full of Cruiser stuff as possible, and re-sell it all here to cover purchase and shipping costs. Then build one for DD use (wild one), and the other for show.
