Hole-in-the-Rock Run: Columbus Day Weekend, October, 2012

Expect temps to be in the mid to upper 40's at night and in the upper 70's to lower 80's during the day.

Chance of precip will be possible. But probably unlikely.

It will be windy...

We will possibly go down the Rincon off shoot if it appears to be open. This will be a night on the shore of lake powell and a good time to jump in the water.

Also please remember tread lightly rules will be standard and pack-in, pack-out as well. Please have adequate toilet facilities for each vehicle (PETT's seem to be standard these days along with Trasheroos).

Anyway, just some other thoughts.

I have a PETT to loan if needed.

I would not. I dont know if the Rincon off shoot is open.

I usually bring stuff that doesn't get used, so why not a kayak?:D

I hope it is open, I would love to get down by the lake!

edit: ok not "get down" per se, but to get to camp by the lake and swim...:flipoff2:

A kayak would make a statement as we were driving along the trail though!

And if you bring your harmonica we could definitely get down by the lake!

Looks like temps will be in the mid-to-upper 60's and lows at night in the mid-to-upper 30's....should be perfect for some epic wheeling.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting the new folks.

Regards.
