brand new toyota fender :) set me back quite alot of $$ though

41948.jpg

some paint on the inside, will put it on the car tomorrow to mold te flares to it :grinpimp: and hopefully I can paint it in the near future :)

well didn´t have time to paint over easter, had some trouble with the flares but finally they´re ready :)

41948.jpg

the inside of the new fender got some paint though :)

42135.jpg

to mold the flares on the car first I had to put some tape on the fender.

42136.jpg

then some mold release wax on the tape.

42137.jpg

tape the flares to the fender in the position wanted.

another view.

42140.jpg

all the flares in place :)

42143.jpg

then put polyester resin and E-Glass fibers. I paint a bit of resin on both the fender and the flare, then take littl pieces of E-glass fibers (9cm x 20cm) wet the pieces and shove the them in :grinpimp:

and after a bit of cutting this is the finished product :) then jsut drill holes in the flange and screw it to the body.

don´t remember the color code at the moment (4E8 I think) but it´s the orginal color.

the parnellies are pretty banged up after the frame donor car went up in flames, so no I won´t be using them :grinpimp:.
I want to but 39.5 irocs on 15" wide 15" wheels but I think I´ll let my 38" mudders I have in the garage do for the summer :)

and as usuall the piccies! :)
