I picked up this HJ61 in Early February of this year from the second owner who had had it for most of it's life.
I'd been looking for quite a while to find another 60, as I had always missed driving my HJ60 since I pulled it apart to restore it (And got sidetracked by other old Toyota's).
It was over the other side of the Country (Perth), but luckily a good friend was able to check it out and it was removed from sale quickly after I sent through a deposit!
He picked it up the same day it was listed, and then a few weeks later it was delivered to the depot to make it's way to Sydney.
It came via Train from Perth to Adelaide, and then via Road Freight from there - It took approximately a month to arrive as it was a little bit cheaper that way.
It arrived in early April and I've been slowly addressing little maintenance things and will soon carry out some small bodywork TLC it needs.

I'm aiming to make it a capable and reliable adventure vehicle which can also tow my Corolla around as well as neaten it up with some Period Correct Japanese Wheels and Trinkets / Accessories Inside.
