I like the cooler alot, turned the fuel up 2 whole turns and the boost to 10-ish, can´t get the EGT over 500C post turbo no matter how hard I try, b4 the cooler I was hitting 600c easy.
Alot more grunt too

60s come now and then, I know about 1 HJ-62 (12H manual) with 334K kms on it for not too much but it´s a bit shaggy, not too rusted, just, dirty and worn on the inside. Think the price is 4K$.

...on the other hand a 147K km Hj-62 was on sale the other day, like new with cable lockers and all for 6000$ it sold the same day it was put on sale I think :flipoff2:

both of these were on 33" tires I think

..so yea there are some left on this reef :)

...just found one "offroad" pic on my phone, not in focus but hey :P
took it the other day while hunting.

You intercooler setup it's way nice .. why put the factory grill back again .. ? naaa just the Toyota embloem over the intercooler .. and done.

it´s not that it looks bad, I think it looks just fine without the grille but we have alot of gravel roads over here and I´m worried about puncturing the intercooler if a little rock get´s hurled at it at 60 mph

...yet another post in this seemingly endless thread :P

posted some offroad pics a while ago at https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/193250-something-diffrent-snowrunning.html

fixed the front bumper that´s been rusting a bit and added a 2 inch receiver at the front for a tow hook and other stuff, it´s welded to the bumper and then bolted to the crossmember.

and the diamond plate is because I´ve been using the bumper to stand on every time I open the hood :P

Wow, that bumper has really got some beef and looks good as well.

damn wicked rig, this is why i so wanted to get stationed in Iceland but no, not now all the damn US NAVY is leaving there. damn the luck. cheers great build

That's a nice rig, you've done great work. Iceland is home to one of my favorite artists, Olafur Eliasson, who loves to offroad on the ice. Sadly for him he has an amby style hummer and not a cruiser, but still.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

A tiny update, made a removable Jerrycan bracket to go in the front 2" receiver, and of course there are pics :P

And I´ve been thinking about putting 44" tires under there and stretch the rear axle further back and putting airbag suspension on the rear axle, we´ll see how much I end up doing :P

Nice nice .. just it's totaly diferent for you the air flow issue .. here we can't fit anything in front of the rad .. and you have a chance to run fuel cans .. ! damn !

Lookin really nice your Cruiser ..

Awesome, love it

Those wheel covers are the bomb!! In the pic's I see no trees, wonder what telico or Moab would do to those?

But in that enviornment what a statement of the spirit of the LC and the look is : well the best looking LC 60 I have seen ever. So envious. Wow!!

ahoy!

just thought I´d post in some pics of a little bit of wheeling I´ve done this fall.

went after school to try the first snow of winter... pretty slippery stuff, skidding down steep hills backwards really isn´t my thing so I went home :P

n648067958_1622478_7136.jpg

first trip of the winter 1 november, not much snow though.

n648067958_1622480_7597.jpg

in other "news" I just bought brown leather seats from an impreza WRX, will be installing them during the christmas brake along with other much-needed mods (hopefully I´ll rebuild the suspension)

anyway, yet another needless resurrection :P
