Hi everyone!
I recently joined the family with a 93' FZJ80 JDM cruiser. I am excited to get working on this truck. It's my new daily so, and I have lots of ideas to get started on. Firstly I have some questions I hope y'all can help with. The tire carrier light is on all the time, even when the tire rack is locked. Anybody have a fix for that? Also I'm having trouble actually finding a tire mount to put on the rack. My cruiser has a fridge/freezer which is awesome, but I think a normal center console with cupholders and a nice arm rest would serve me better. Can anyone recommend one that's for RHD cruisers. Lastly, the hood does not pop up when I pull the hood lever, and it also visibly looks loose when I drive. Is that fix just new struts or do I need a spring to keep it under tension?
Forgive me for any formatting errors, and sorry I didn't post a pic of the whole truck I'll get around to that. I decided to name her Mean Greenie. She's got an aftermarket army green color, which I like but hope to repaint down the line to an OEM color. My dad had a 98' GMC suburban that he put approx 300000 miles on and he called it Mean Green, so in a way my trucks kind of a successor. Anyway thanks in advance for any advice!
