Help with Molex connector door switch (1 Viewer)

Thought this would be simple but OMFG. Can anyone explain how the molex connectors on the courtesy door switches pull apart? I see the locking tab but can't figure out how to release the side on the wiring harness to pull the old one out. Two bleeding holes in my index finger summoned this cry for help.

I can't get it to budge/open and not want to break.

I just wrestled with a similar connector on the HVAC.

As far as I can tell, you pry up on the flexible section and then pull it apart. You need three hands. There isn't a tab you pull up or push down.

Thank you. I despise 30 year old brittle electrical connectors.

I ended up doing what you said and pried up the blue connector with small flat blade above the retaining tab. Broke 2 0f the 4 but still go together okay again.

Pretty sure you squeeze the tabs at the bottom of the connector and pull.
