Keeping my (your) eye out for a driver mid 1960's Dodge Power Wagon 4 door (crew cab) 4wd.. not looking for a project or a show car... Let me know if this rings any bells...

More or less like this:

I have a friend with one, but I don't think it is for sale. His is blue/white (probably factory paint). He uses it to haul stuff to the dump. It is a neat old truck.

Will you ask? And take a couple of pics either way... I'm interested in seeing examples of them for reference...

I have seen a house with 2-3 of them ,all green. They are in Richardson, Texas. Ill see if they are for sale. Mike

PM me your email address and I can send you a pic or two of my truck. I don't think I can part with it but you can look at them for reference.

I used to have a 68 PW but not crewcab....it was an amazing truck. Stupid to sell it. That CC is awesome. I think I know of one in NC. I will have to e-mail him and see if he still has it.

power

Those are sweet trucks! Up here in the mountains there used to be quite a few of those trucks. The forest service used them and so did the park service. The tribe used to get goverment left overs up here. The last one I saw was up in Boone NC about 4 years ago. Like this helps any :hillbilly:

same size

Same size body. Just heavier running gear. The one you posted looks like a W200 which is a 3/4 ton. W300 is just a one ton. W100 obviously a half ton...

Something else is different... look at the distance between the top of the front wheel well and the hood...I see the headlights are different too... I prefer the 4 light version (different model year?)

Look for Fargo's as well. That was a complimetary dodge truck line up here in Canada.

The front fenders are different on the W300 due to the heavier suspension and axles ( DANA 70's I believe) and the W300 body mounts position the cab higher on the frame as noted by the W300 also having factory running boards to make up for the additional height, but the cab, doors, hood, etc are the same as stated in the above quote.
Also the grills are different with the dual vs single headlights....I believe all that is interchangeable if one desires.

It sounds like you are looking for a W200 from the looks of it. They are more common anyway.

Mo... thanks for the info. Good to hear the 200s are more common... I know the 4 doors are harder to find but they do seem to be out there.

Ok... another Dodge newbie question: "W" vs "D"?
