Keeping my (your) eye out for a driver mid 1960's Dodge Power Wagon 4 door (crew cab) 4wd.. not looking for a project or a show car... Let me know if this rings any bells...

More or less like this:

Mo... thanks for the info. Good to hear the 200s are more common... I know the 4 doors are harder to find but they do seem to be out there.

Ok... another Dodge newbie question: "W" vs "D"?

"W" is 4wd. At least in the 1970s to 1990s models

Good luck with the search. I have been trying find one myself for quite awhile. If I run across one I will let you know since I am having to put mine on the back burner for awhile

Thanks...!

1964 Dodge W-200 & 1968 Dodge D-200 Crew Cab

The price is right for this pair.

I'm holding out for the same thing in a cornbinder. I used to have a 1966 IHC 1200 crewcab 4x4 but that 2wd crewcab would drop right onto my 1992 Cummins.

If they were local then maybe, but to add shipping.... not gonna happen. Plus I'd REALLY like a driver, not a P R O J E C T.

Thanks all for the input... this is great, keep it coming!

That is funny. I was just comming on to say I saw one on Chasing Classic cars and there it is. It got up to $36K. But they didn't really get into it but the guy spent 175K on the truck. Who is dumb enough to pay that much to restore a car is insane. When they lifted the hood it had a new hemi in there and I bet all of the running gear to make it a nice driver to go along with it.

I e-mailed that guy in NC that used to have one (actually what I went to buy when I saw my first land cruiser hiding in the barn...where my addiction started). Sad he had sold it so no luck there. I will keep my eye out. Sadly I can't find any pictures of my 68 PW. It was rusted out but everything worked great on that truck. Back in those days Dodge made one hell of a truck.

Thanks for both of those recommendations but neither of those trucks is NEARLY ugly enough... just take a look at that 4 headlight/4 door truck in my first post... now THAT is the truck I want to be in when the traffic gets nasty!
