Anyone been in touch with our expedition brothers? Alex took enough firewood for a bonfire and you know he and JP may be unsafe with matches!;)

Man, I just got home. What an awesome time. Bummed I couldn't camp the second night - had to be back here for Sunday.

What a trip though. Awesome camp last night and killer wheelin' today. Explored and found some new trails. Ripped the back bumper right off my 100!!

Oh well, just makes the upgrade to a bumper with tire carrier more of an immediate need now. :D

Alex's firewood supply made for a killer fire last night. Spruce right? Man, did it smell good too. It was down right chilly way up there in the high country!!

We need to plan this trip again when EVERYONE can go!! It is a trip not to be missed!

Barry and I wanted to make this one real bad. Couldn't make it 'cause of my daughter's spring break this week. Plan another one for sure. Sounds like a good time. I'm up for anything with a large campfire.....

Sounds like great fun. Sorry I missed this trip but I'll try to make the next.
The thought of them having a great time was a nice "happy place" to visit
while assisting my dad. Glad all went well. Lost a bumper? Too Cool.
Boy, I can't wait for the pics. When are ya'll going again?

I am back safe and sound in clemens town........... I had a blast!!! we had a good turn out of 8 cruisers and 1 tacoma. It was a weird trip as the there were no 40s on this one; only 62's and on up. It was great to have the 100's and Lexus's on the trail with us.....

Weather was great and the company was even better. Thanks to everyone that came out and made this an awesome trip

That's strange, cause i would probably just be rolling out of the back of the 80 right about now. How in the world did you get back so soon?

By the way, this thread is useless without pics :flipoff2:

haha, we broke camp right at 9.......... we went to bed early last night, we were all worn out from wheeling and camping on the bald the first night......... the wind was even worse this time

and sorry man I was to busy wheeling to take pics :flipoff2: but we did mange to explore some new trails :D

I posted in the other thread too. Got back around 12. Had a blast!!

Lift worked great! Now I have to get the lock rite in so I can feel special like Travis and the other guys with lockers. Had to use my gas pedal as a locker a few times :)

Looking forward to next month! Although I checked my dates I am busy and dont know oif I can make it :( Aprill 22nd weekend is taken as well as May 6th weekend.

Hey JP or Andy, where did you guys camp the second night? I assume you didn't go on the trail we took the second day.

The second night we stayed down in the valley where the 2 streams converge. (Just across from the old chimney)

Wish you could have made the trip. It wouldn't have happened without your help!

Sweet. I have camped that area for years and that's the first actual bobcat i have seen. Very cool.

Thanks Guys!

That was a blast, and it was good to get my first offroad adventure under my belt. Lots of mud underneath, and JP's east coast pinstriping, but no worse for the wear! Thanks to our leader for a great trip and to Andy for showing me the lines. Nothing like having a back wheel come up into the air a meter or so!

Your school mascot is the catamount for a reason Alex!!

Webster's Dictionary defines "catamount" as "any of various wild cats such as a cougar or lynx." Cats of the catamount variety, including the bobcat, have roamed the southern Appalachian Mountains, where Western Carolina University is located, for years.

Glad you made the trip David! It's good to have other 100's there - we're slowly convincing the gang that they can wheel too!!
