Headlights not showing up (7 Viewers)

I just purchased a 2021 with King 2.5 suspension. Supposedly raised just a bit in the front to give the cruiser a level looking stance. However, when driving at night, my low beams provide zero light. I mean its like they aren't even on. My guess is that the lifting of the front caused them to be too high even though it wasn't raised that much. But wouldn't the automatic headlight levelers compensate?
Another feature is that the headlights are covered in a clear protective film...could that be distorting the beam?

I was thinking of taking to local dealer, but thinking they may blame the ride height.

Your auto headlight leveling is moving them the wrong direction (way up), because the vehicle only has a sensor in the rear and your lift makes it think you are super light back there. You need an adjustable link for the sensor in the rear.

I am wondering if I am missing something here--is the adjustment to in the rear just if you have a higher lift? I have a 2021 and just got mine back from having a new suspension/wheels/tires installed and noticed last night that the headlights lights were shining too high.

I looked in the owner's manual and it said I need a screwdriver to adjust the screws on the back of the headlight assemblies. Except I couldn't find any screws. There were two bolt heads where the manual said the screws would be--took a socket and rotated them like it said to do with the screws and the...

2016+ LC.

08-11 are just static due to the not-very-sharp halogen beam cutoff.

2013-15 LC got a dial on the dash to manually adjust beam height, because the xenons have a sharp upper cutoff.

All LXs mostly take care of it themselves because of the inherent capabilities of AHC.

I have a 2010 with the OEM 2013 headlights

Maybe I’ll look into retrofitting the dash adjuster switch into mine. The lights already have the motors. I was curious about that

I vaguely remember someone working on that setup and posting about it. But I don’t remember any keywords to get you started. Just that I think it has been discussed.

I wouldn't call them auto leveling in the sense they know where the vehicle is at all times. You still need to set the base level, or the zero, if you will. From there, they will adjust as needed based off the sensor. The height is manually adjustable on the back of the headlights. Once you bring the aim back down you'll be good to go. High side of beam should be a 2-3" drop from center height of projector at 25 feet from a wall (on flat ground). I do a 1-2" drop personally.
