One of my Hikari Low beams just died after a year and a half. Is that how long they should last?

Is there a reason any H11 wont work on my LX? I found some light with good ratings but the websites dont list them for my 2010 LX570.

Which wire is positive and which is negative? On the Pass side the wires are blue and white. The LED bulbs I got will plug in either way.

Here are the 2010 schematics @raincityrider

According to these the bulb wire colors are Red/black stripe (pos) and White/black stripe Negative for the RH (US Passenger). There is a Blue upstream of the Red/black stripe, but it's on the other side of the fuse, so probably not where the bulb actually is.
The driver side has Red (pos) and White/black (neg). It ties into the same Blue as the other side, before the fuse.

LEDs are polarity sensitive, but sometimes they will do some shunting to avoid blowing the LED when hooked up backwards, depends on the brand and cost.

Seems that Blue on mine is POS.

It sucks, these are out of stock everywhere and the company doesn't have an eta on when they'll be back...
Wondering whether you were able to source another option for this. I still need extended dust covers as well. Lasfit now offers another version, but they're a soft rubber 'universal fit' style and I'm not sold on them. Their customer service was not particularly helpful when I requested more info about the new product either.

I have not found another solution. Interested to hear if others have a solution that is currently available...

Looking to upgrade my OEM low beam headlights, I saw few post about going to H9 rather than H11 bulbs. Wondering if anyone has any experience / recommendations?

I have whatever bulbs DDM Tuning recommended for their HID kit. I love them, and no glare issues to speak of. I can try and figure out whether they’re H11 or H9’s but it’s whatever their default was.

Has anyone found another option for the extended dust covers for the 08-11 LXs? The Lasfit covers have been sold out for quite awhile and I am not sure they have any plans to make anymore. They also show unavailable on AliExpress and eBay .I'd like to upgrade to LED bulbs now that my passenger side halogen burnt out, but want to make sure I can maintain the AFS functionality.

No help on the covers. But before those existed, people were modifying the OEM cover cutting out the back and gluing something over that gave more space. Obviously way crappier than the easy Lasfit covers, but it’s a way.

Gotcha, yeah I don't know if I can get myself to do that. I may just need to order new halogen bulbs for now. If at some point the extended covers are available again, I'll switch over to LED.

The Lasfit part is one of many that will fit. The fit crosses over with 2018-2019 Highlander, so there are so many options, you just need to update the search terms. Try this string: 'toyota highlander led bulb cover extended'

I took a chance and ordered these dust caps, and they fit. It was actually my first time ordering anything from Aliexpress but it was fine. Took about 10 days to arrive.

The covers themselves seem to be of decent quality, and the o-ring/gasket is nearly as thick as the OEM gasket so I think it will provide a sufficient seal against the housing. New on top, OEM on bottom.

Install was a bit tight. On the DS I had to take the battery out to install, but it all fit. No AFS warnings while driving around today!

What year is yours? I see on Ali there are also ones listed for the LX570, but they list a 72MM diameter

I don't really need one of these now but nice find! I previously tried using the other one that people recommended and it didn't work for me.
