Man that thing is sweet!

There is 1 thing that hdj80s have over the hzj77 and that's having the sub tank!
I have no idea why Toyota didn't put a sub tank in the 77/76.

Just a note about the OP. His post was in 2008.;)

He ended up buying an hdj81, dropped a couple grand fixing some of it up then due to his :princess: not liking it traded it to me for my Cherokee plus some $.

I rushed into this deal and as stated before was not really happy with the out come.:crybaby: The truck ran well and had had the BEB's done and a bunch of brake and driveline work done but all the little things had failed or were failing. Like leaking sunroof, rear wiper not working, defrost not keeping up with demand etc.Anyway, I sold it, took my time and bought a clean 95 FZJ80 which other than the gas issue is a fantastic truck.

Still a fun thread though:D

I am lead to believe that Kenya Toyota have a oem rear Jerrycan option on the small back door of the 76 series

You guys would only like the yellow coloured Jerrycans ?

been a while since i bid on a 77
but
if you score that for 1.5 then you are doing real good.
1.2 is a dream.

1.5 million yen = roughly $19,000 (USD).....am I getting this right?
