I have no idea why Toyota didn't put a sub tank in the 77/76.
not liking it traded it to me for my Cherokee plus some $.
The truck ran well and had had the BEB's done and a bunch of brake and driveline work done but all the little things had failed or were failing. Like leaking sunroof, rear wiper not working, defrost not keeping up with demand etc.Anyway, I sold it, took my time and bought a clean 95 FZJ80 which other than the gas issue is a fantastic truck.There is 1 thing that hdj80s have over the hzj77 and that's having the sub tank!
