ok folks, our annual meeting is coming up on Saturday, January 8th 2011.

we will be electing officer positions,
President
Vice President
Treasurer
TLCA Delegate
if you are interested in any of these, speak up or have someone nominate you!

we will talk about/vote on donating again to NMOHVA and keep our membership with them.

shirts and stickers will be for sale.

Dues will be due for everyone, $20.

if anyone wants to add agenda items, start discussing items , or ask questions, this is the thread.

and Jon can we get this put up on the web site? thanks.

Also, last year the vote on the NMOHVA (which has been doing quite a bit for New Mexico land access) was for a continuing resolution, so I believe if we need a vote it would be to discontinue it.

(Personally I think it would be pretty sad if we were the kind of "off-road club" that would spend hundreds on BBQ but couldn't find a hundred to help maintain access to the outdoors.)

Well said Steve.

Did anyone notice that NMOHVA's efforts had a direct impact on the appeal of the Mountainair Ranger District's Travel Management Plan? An appeals officer basically told them they had to do it over and use the correct protocols for identifying the environmental issues and evaluating the impact of motorized travel w.r.t. those environmental issues. This was a direct result of NMOHVA's involvement.

Just for the record. We gave $280 to NMOHVA so far this year ... not $100. We spent LESS than that on food for the party.

My dad and I will be at the meeting.

He will have more information on the medical training.

CRAP! I'm out of town this weekend.

Franklin's x2.5 this time. i swear... sigh. i'll bring my new kenwood TM-D710 radio, either installed or in the box.

what are we doing for food? potluck mish mash right? and BYOB?

see you all there.

yes, pot luck. Williams'x4.

Kay and I will take the back roads and make the 1.79 mile drive! : )

I'll be there.

I'll bring shirts again for anyone that wants to purchase more.

Will we have more stickers at this meeting?

Thanks.

yes, I have the stickers and Steve printed more, so the extras should be there too if he makes it.

I probably can't make this meeting since my sister's getting married on Saturday. Where do I send the paperwork and dues check?

Where are your priorities, man! (Just kidding!)

If you go to hdcruisers.org, click on the Meetings/Events tab, and there's a link to download the member application. There's an address for our esteemed Treasurer at the bottom of the page. You can send him the $$$ and form.

All, make sure you do not make any checks out to HDCruisers. Or, better yet, Paypal to hdcruisers@yahoo.com .

LOL, maybe I can sneak away from the reception.

Can someone save one for me? I wanted to be there, but due to a loved one lost, I can t see me making it. I can't see any reason for not paying dues to something that a family to me. I will pay my dues.
