My one suggestion would be to get more brake fluid than you think you’ll need. I went through an embarrassing amount given the large reservoir and (frankly) ease of having the computer do the lifting. HTH

I've got time either today or tomorrow
I think so. TBH, that reservoir is impressive compared to some of the other Asian cars I did today. Also, hook up your battery to a tender. This pump running/door opened/ignition “on” (not engine running) stuff seems to have punished my battery. It was sluggish to start and is being trickle charged now.I got 5 bottles of fresh. Enough or nah?

There is a listing for the "Elite" model. Not sure what is different but shows in stock for $119Seems like it’s sold out on scamazon? Was hoping for a Prime Day deal…
Has anyone successfully used this to program the unlock button on the remote to open the windows? The previous owner did not request to turn this on from the dealer.
The OG model reference by this thread was also “elite” with the cheaper model you reference being in portrait orientation vs landscape. Not sure the actual difference…There is a listing for the "Elite" model. Not sure what is different but shows in stock for $119
You probably have the repair manual information, but just in case:
Bleed Calipers:
1. Top-off the reservoir. KEY ON FOR THIS! Bleed the air at each caliper as you'd typically do, BUT the order is Front RH, Front LH, Rear RH, Rear LH. Yes---front first. You'll need two people. *The hydraulic pump will operate during the caliper air bleeding.*
2. Top-off the reservoir.
Bleed System:
1. KEY ON. Go into the Air Bleeding utility with your scan tool, GTS+, whatever you have. Press the brake pedal 10 times.
Front: Select FR Line. Repeat this 10x.
Repeat with FL Line. 10x.
2. Rear: Turn RR Line on, loosen the bleeder plug of the rear disc brake cylinder RH and bleed fluid. Repeat a few times until you're satisfied.
Repeat with RL line.
Keep an eye on the reservoir level, top off when done. Clear DTCs.
I’ve seen this portrait one (I see that it’s Elite 2025 version now) and the landscape one that they they call “2025 Elite 2.0” Amazon.com - https://a.co/d/7Hh8fSxI bought this version of it and was able to program a bunch of different things. Disabled auto steering wheel tilt on power off, auto window unlock by remote press, disabling the moonroof opening during that unlock, one press unlock all doors. I did "successfully" set the double press to open the tailgate - but this didn't work. I still had to hold the button on the remote for the auto tailgate. Same thing with my attempt at disabling the DRLs. It also produced a nice health check report and pulled a bunch of DTC codes with explanation. It is able to email the report, which is just a URL on their site. Very satisfied with the price and feature set. Supposedly free lifetime updates as well - we'll see.
You never returned it for another one?Mine is still just an expensive code reader.![]()
