The plastic clip is a standard part, I lots of them. They are common.

Every time I see the parts you have, I wonder whether I should even bother calling my project a "restoration"...

I don't suppose you know where I could get one of those? I think SOR lists that bracket as "discontinued".

I have 2, but dont know what one I will need yet. My tub is not painted yet so I cant do a test fit........Canada had alot of these and the US had None......Bone yard up North??

BTW, I found the whole setup at Cruiserparts for $75, so I went ahead and ordered it.

I found a complete setup at Cruiserparts, so I ordered it. Hopefully the "little plastic thing" is there. If not, I may see if I can order one from SOR.

Have James send the parts to me for restoring.............I know someone who knows someone who might be able to do it.

Check out the pic of my '82, the bumper for the gas pedal is down low so it's not needed on the throttle bracket. You should be able to tell from your accelerator which bracket should work with yours.

Yes, I've bought a lot of stuff from James over the last year. He's really helped me out a lot.

They've probably already sent the parts, but I can send them to you for refinishing when I get them. How much do you think it would cost?

No more than $20 for me to glass bead all brackets and have them replated. Includes shipping back to you. I was just out bid on a setup from Canada, BUT I did get the SUPER RARE Factory hood lock/release................Thats a rare option!!! I didn't even know there WAS a hood release like that.

I'm still trying to find the regular hood ltch that you release from the front. I got outbid on the one you were selling and that's the only one I've found for a '79. I bought one for another year thinking it would fit, and it didn't. I need to sell it and a few other things I've collected up.

I forgot about that bracket. Heres a picture of it.

It holds the cable end inline with throttle.

I too am looking for that bracket that holds the throttle cable in line to then attach to gas pedal -anyone know where I could find one?
