Yep the pig is down to just body work. I'm hoping to have all the dents fixed and sheetmetal fixed by this date. So we will roll her our and sand he down inside and out for a coat of primer and the final paint job. I should have also stipped it completely out buy then (doors, tailgate windows, etc...) I will have a body sander and to DA's working the compressor overtime. Should be a fun dusty day.

I will have the house open to all those from out of town who need a place to crash if you want to stay Sat night.

Marshall, I am going to try to make it. it's going to be up to Taylor to see if he'll let me go. I have a 6" pnuematic orbital body sander that I can bring up too. I also have a smaller air compressor if it's needed.

Lol I have 60 gallon stationary a 30gallon portable and a 5 gallon portable. We should be good on air compressors.

Well I will give this a bump. I'm not exactly sure what I will be doing Sat but I have tons of cruiser related stuff to do.


If I have everything back from the machine shop. I might just turn this into a sit around and learn how to rebuild a big gay 2f class. Could be fun. We could also yank the motor out of the 40. Or we could work on stripping down the 55. Or we could install the newfields and high steer on the 40. Or we could fix the exhaust on the 55. Or we could replace the spring bushings on the 40. Or we could build a new anti wrap bar for the 40. Or we could bead blast the millions of bolts I have waiting to go to the plater. Or we could just sit around and drink beer and make fun of Richard and JP. Either way I will have something fun and rewarding to do that you can learn from.

Anyway for those out of town the house is open to come and crash for the weekend.

Marshall, I would really like to get up there for this one, but I have to go up to Tellico on Thursday night for the stakeholders meeting with TU and the Forest Service on Friday morning. I am also traveling that Tues and Wed for work. If I take off for another day, Taylor will kill me. Not to mention that whole I already feel like I am going to die anyway thing.

I am sorry, I really wish I could come help.

So I will start around 9am on Staurday. Beers will be ice cold, fans will be on high, chairs for being lazy. All I ask is that you bring some sunglasses as the big gay engine will be available for viewing. Holding hands is optional.

Burgers and otherstuff I will be grilling will be ready for lunch. Two bedrooms for any guest who would like to come early and stay late. Will try to have hot tub ready for late night drinking and soaking of sore bones.
