Any update on tube sources and prices?
Does anyone have any dates they want to set for their HAMOMs?
What size did you want and I will try and call him today. Did you ever find out what a 1.3/4 inch die for the bender would cost?
2in is too big for the hoop on the sliders and 1 inch is to small... I got some weird looks in home depot messing with the pvc pipe they had.

I will be in for a new die. I have alot of tube work to do. I need sliders and bumpers. also a top and steps for my 416. the trailer i am planning on 1 inch tube so we have a die for that. the truck stuff i can do 1.5 or 1.3/4. so let me know what size you want to go with and we can see what a die will cost. what type of bender does the club have so i can look for a die and see what the cost will be.
Thanks

I was all excited to have a bender available but I lost motivation after we never had a time to show us how it works. (Unless I missed that) Also I decided to sell my 62 shortly after loosing motivation to build something.
I want to get a bumper like I listed before for the 80. Figuring out costs vs getting someone to fab it for me is my issue. As if its close to each other then I will just get someone to make it for me.

Carp, with your lift, were you still dragging the rear bumper at Tellico?
Only because my ass is so big! I think I'd have to bob the 60 (not in the plan) to not drag over some things. But a bumper stronger than stock would be nice.
Steve
That is a good idea. only problem is that the bumper is out of stock and being redesigned. I thought about getting a kit and then modifying it to what i wanted with tire carrier and high lift mount. There was a guy in the 60's forum that was gonna make some kits but never did. I have since looked at and started liking that hybrid tube front and rear bumpers and think that is what i may go with.
