I've found no rhyme or reason with the shoulder belt nuts in the C pillar either. I'm sure there is some reason only the Toyota Yodas know

Got the inside wire wheeled and ready for primer before I had to to leave to go out of town for work for the rest of the week. I also got some help cleaning up the frame.

Eastwood chassis paint flashes very fast. At least it used to, I used it once several years ago. I could not paint down one side of a frame rail and them back down the other sides. Had to paint all around one rail at a time and work from one end to the other. Big PIA

Some progress updates:

Frame has been coated with POR 15 along with some of the rusty spots inside the body.

Firewall and interior coated with Lizard skin sound insulation and ceramic heat insulation.

Front axle prepped, u bolt eliminator shackles tacked in place. Caster set at what I think will be 6 degrees. Pinion angle probably sucks, but I’ll deal with that later since it will be part time and only matter when it’s in 4wd.

I’ll be showing up sat, and bringing some tires/wheels and inner air locks to mount up.

last night @UZJ105 got a good start on laying down the sound deadening mat while I finished stripping the rear axle and tacking the spring perches on. No pictures of the perches
