No power steering yet, NEXT MONTH I hope ! ! :)
Whats another $1000.00, for power steering, I just need to save up for it. I do have a Mortgage. Thats why it has taken me this long to get this Cruiser done.

Well let me save you some money....cause $1000 is a lot of it for steering and not necessary.

A typical power steering set up on an F or 2F engine includes....

Toyota mini-truck steering box (late 80's truck)
Saginaw or Toyota FJ60/mini-truck steering pump
Brackets
1. Contact Georg aka orangefj45 on the board
2. ask him if he has the Dorry brackets made yet. Bill Dorry used to make some really stout brackets and has since passed the business to Georg. You'll need a bracket to mount the mini-truck box; You'll need a modified 2F smog pump bracket to fit the pump on your engine. You'll want a 2F alternator bracket to move your alternator to the passenger side.

Or....spend the money on a kit from one of the many capable vendors out there.

You didn't ask and I made some assumptions, but I hope that helps you.

Nice FJ and I dig the color along with the detail you put into the body, the engine, and even clear down to how you taped your lines for the bedliner in the floor especially around the back doors. And dont worry it makes good sense to me............ If your gonna take something out and wheel the &(*&^ out of it to the point that who cares if it endos down a hill I vote you endo the jeep!! ;p

Just kidding they are both nice vehicles you have there (including the shop!!)

How are you running the lollipop turn signals without the small round bib lights? Did you modify the socket or something? I bought some and couldn't use them without swapping the sockets.

I just rewired the light to work with my other lights. I did not think it was anything hard.

here are a few more pics. i am trying to put my soft top back on but my bows are way out of wac. I just order a new set from bestop, they will be here by next Tuesday.

I have a question about your York compressor. Did you source or fabricate the input and output flanges? I know Kilby Enterprises sells a set for Yorks, but I have not seen any others dedicated like that for air hose.

Nice ! I didn't know Bestop made that color top for cruisers. Thats a stock color and you got it recently ?

The compressor is just like it has been for a least the last 4 years. I am going to have to fab. up some connections when I get around to putting it all together.

The top is a Besttop Tirger top from a long time ago. It has been sitting for some time now. I had to order a new set of bows for it yesterday.

I'm sporting wood!

Nice work. Love the line-x job.
