They will be built on the same assembly line.Crazy that these different two vehicles are lumped together here as if they were just slightly different versions of the same.
Umm, so is the 4RunnerThey will be built on the same assembly line.
Agreed I think that between the different interiors, engines and transmissions they should be broken out seperate.Crazy that these different two vehicles are lumped together here as if they were just slightly different versions of the same.
Does anyone have any confirmation whether the GX550 will be offered without a moonroof?
And what about getting a GX without a moonroof?I think the GX550 will hit the dealers before the LC250. Possibly by a few weeks.
it would depend on your dealer allocation. And what about getting a GX without a moonroof?
I guess my question is less about allocations and more about whether or not the GX will even be available here in the US without a moonroof. Several of the overseas videos and press content shows it without a sunroof, but sometimes the US market gets saddled with this stuff no matter what. There is a recent trend for Lexus to offer some vehicles without a sunroof (NX, RX, etc) and I was hoping they'd extend the same courtesy to the GX (and LX...haha, right).it would depend on your dealer allocation.
Not sure if they already know what specifically is coming though but no reason why it shouldn't possibly be part of the first run of vehicles, just depends if you are lucky to find one available for sale without waiting and without a crazy markup.
to be fair the GX550 debut happened 2 months before the LC.Agreed I think that between the different interiors, engines and transmissions they should be broken out seperate.
It could be possible. I asked about that and they would not confirm.
The new one may not be but the current one is.
Was the info you posted above only for the LC250 or for both?Production has not started yet.

The order guide appears to show all trims beside the GX Luxury+ get the "Power tilt-and-slide moonroof with roof rails", and the GX Luxury+ gets the "Dynamic Sky panorama glass roof". The GX Overtrail has "Black utility roof rails" but it's unclear if that replaces the "Power tilt-and-slide moonroof with roof rails" - but unlikely. All US videos of GX Overtrail trims have had a moonroof.
So likely it'll just be the 1958 Prado for us super tall folks as I doubt the First Edition won't include a moonroof,
