I ordered today from Coil Spring Specialties, springs will be here in about a month.

Based the config off a 2007 4R Sport V8 oem rear spring, hope this works out:

+3/4" height over stock
+15% rate increase
+200 lb additional load

This nets a progressive rate that should squat no more than 1/4" with 200 lbs of gear in the rear.
That's pretty slick. Let us know how you like them!

Did you ever get the custom springs installed? How do you like them? Also what's your overall height of the rig now?

@teejnut the custom springs have been in for a few months now - very, very happy with them, although I wish I'd have gone with just slightly more height, Details here: Custom rear coils installed

This is good info should I decide to go with the custom springs for the '03 Runner. I may even get them for the fronts too!

Iv also got ride right air bags in my springs ... i used the isolator but cut the first two humps off to shorten it and the hose nipple runs through the center of the isolator ...
unfortunately when it comes to rear springs they arent much help with a heavy load ... but if you compensate with heavier springs your ride is too stiff ... thats why i always suggest getting bags if you tow alot ... paired with a 600lb springs

and they can be reconnect to your stock air system but i would suggest putting in an over ride switch and tricking the air bag sensor

'air bags are like viagra for suspension it gets your ride stiff when you need it '....:pompous:
