When I ended up buying the GX at the Toyota dealer this was on the showroom floor with a sign on the windshield Not For Sale.

Brought back a lot of memories. At least the ones I could still recall LOL.

Looked at 2 or 3 Iron Pigs over the years. They were always too far beyond my skills to get back on the road. Awesome trucks, great to see one still be used as intended.

I will check that out. I'm not on FB but I troll some stuff with my wife's account. I think I went out with some of those guys several winters ago to the Laurelville area after seeing someone post on Tacomaworld.

So far that bumper is great. I love the look and the increased utility of it - approach angle and winch capable. Haven't pulled from it yet but it seems super beefy. If you buy one I have some install notes a few pages back on the GX BS thread - and also a pro tip since you are in Ohio is to drive to to Kalamazoo and get it to save on the $450 pallet delivery fee!
Now that is some useful information! I may run their sliders as well. Would for sure save a bunch. Thanks! yeah there are a bunch of Tacomas in the group, a handful of 4 runners and a few GX.

Pretty chonky pieces of steel. Treaty Oak recovery points. Figure they have to be better than stock.

I run their sliders and really like them. Love the closer to stock look and I am blown away how the powder coat has held up with me using it as a step all the time.I want that bumper but man $450 shipping is hard to stomach.

Yup, that's the spot!

Glad you were able to enjoy it!
I know that spot too, but I haven't been up there since '08. I camped up there with my buddies and we got a lil' bit wild. The next day I had to hurry back down the mountain to go on a first date with the woman who later became my loving wife. I was all hung over and couldn't hang, I thought for sure I'd blown it.
