I have read a lot of different threads regarding fitment, but nothing is quite answering my question. I have a 94 Land Cruiser currently running the stock 16" wheels. I have a extra set of 17" tires I took off my truck and I am looking for wheels to mount them to. I found a set of 17" Lexus GX470 wheels but they look like different backspacing. Going from 16" to 17" should make clearance for the brake calipers a non issue, but does anyone know if the factory backspacing between these too vehicles will make difference?

I thought LX470 wheels were 5-lug wheels?

Edit: never mind...I read that as "LX" and not "GX"...

I Googled and found this info...

17x7.5, same bolt pattern as the 4runner (6x5.5), 25mm offset, and 5-3/16 backspacing.

I have the opportunity to buy some chrome GX470 wheels, and yes after doing a lot more searching I also foind they have a 25mm offset (approx. 5 1/4" backspacing). So what are our standard offset, something like 4" or 3.75" isn't it? If this is the case then I would need to go with 1.5" spacers just to play it safe? Was hoping I didn't need to go with spacers but I have a bad feeling on this. Thanks for the answers, keep them coming.

The gx470 is essentially a gen 4 4runnet in Lexus cladding, my guess is with the appropriate back spacing they will fit. If you have a set why not test fit?
GX470 is a Land Cruiser Prado, 120 series LC UZJ120.

Did you end up putting these? If yes, did you use spacers (what size)?

As much as I love OEMs (truck came with AM 15-inch wheels), I can't find any locally. These are available and I like the style.
