This thread should be re-titled as GSMTR 2013 Location Debate. :D
I was going to suggest starting a GSMTR 2013 thread already, but I think so many are already subscribed to this one we might as well keep this one going until it slows down significantly. At that point, a new thread can be started after all the preliminary crap has already been debated and maybe settled.

I have never been to a tlca event. I gotta say outa every kind of event I ever attended. The guys that put this show on did an amazing job. No matter where it is I will attend. Facilities are great but it's about the people. As long as those guys are going it. It's gonna be awesome.
Just gotta remember to check the damn gas gauge. Grrrr

Yeah its towards the top of 42. First part of the trail is fine. Then at the top there are two trees left in the trail and winching is required unless you have no fear of rolling down the mountain.

Umm...There's a 4" hole in the front passenger fender?

I bet that thing tracks straight down the road, but probably has terrible tire scrub.

Yep!

Now let's see some pictures.

The mini psyching itself up to take on 4.

No it looks fine, just go hard passenger and punch it.

Well, maybe not...

This repair did prompt a cool little trail party (which I can't post pictures of because everyone was drinking "sodas" on the trail which is not allowed.) :hillbilly:

Side note: I'm thinking a bent inner tie rod repair on the trail is at least a :banana::banana: job. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey Mike. You waiting to go last?

Deciding if I want to run or not.

Why not? What's the worst that could happen?

Nothing...

He told me he just wanted to try out the new door bars. So he did!

I hate those flares too, first thing to come off when the rear bumper is done (then bedline the pattern back).

I was like "damn" when I felt it go. Oh well, wheeling has a cost! It was fun!

First thing I gotta say is great job on the event. After breaking the transfer case in my buggy, and helping Dan Fri night get back, I was very happy to be minutes from camp. CC was a differant story when it takes about 5 hrs to get 5 trucks back from the rail trail to camp after carnage.CC is a good place but needs better mapping and a lot of trail leaders to keep everyone organized and safe!Guys GM was great and having facilities is very :beer:app.

I definitely had a blast out there, and as some have said, there are some great folks that attend these events. I never met a stranger! Looking forward to next year for sure, wherever it is!

Cheers,

Joel
