Is it too late to get in on this? Put me down for one of the regular harness set up. Thanks.

I should get the first harness sometime this week. Guessing Gary will need to tweak the design based on my feedback (or maybe not). Once I fit it and do a write up on it, Gary will start producing them.

So probably a week minimum, probably two weeks before they start going out. Keep in mind that if any major changes need to be made, that will significantly delay the process as Gary might need to send me out a new test harness.

Also, we have over 50 people interested. It will take time to get it all sent out, so if you're towards the bottom of the list you'll need to have a little patience.

Gary's pretty darn quick at this though, over all it's taking less time than I expected. I mean, to go from concept to prototype in a week and a half is pretty darn good......

Ebag333 may I suggest: Since you are orchestrating this I might suggest you create a single post that you can edit which has everyone's name, order date, ship date, etc. Doing so will keep everyone appraised of their status.

We have name and order they got it in. I will have a form to fill out with address, phone, etc for Gary (so he has a better/easier list to ship from).

At this point we're all in the same boat, everyone's waiting to get the harness started. Once we start getting these processed, I'll try and keep everyone up to date with where they're at (order/shipping wise).

Count me in for one set as well, thanks:cheers:

Man, I wanted to show thus off at Round-up!

So for clarification I need 4 1157 bulbs for this? Thanks for putting this together.

QUOTE="Ebag333"]Parts for the first harness should be in this weekend. Plan is for Gary to build it on Sunday, and ship it out to me on Monday. So (fingers crossed, knock on wood, etc) I should be testing it middle to end of next week.[/QUOTE]

You might still get it in time. I should get it hopefully tomorrow, so assuming everything checks out Gary will probably start building them next week.

Yes, you will need four 1157 bulbs. You will need to look at your local codes to see what's legal and not as far as white vs yellow goes. Here in Oregon you can have white turn signal lights, and front marker lights aren't required for vehicles under 8000 lbs (at least the way I'm reading it).

So I can run clear bulbs for all four and be okay. In your state you may be required to have yellow turns. Looking at a couple general shopping stores, I noticed yellow 1157 bulbs were not available (only white), so they're probably not as common. That being said, I'm sure your local auto parts store has 'em. You can easily source them online as well.

Usually they are called 1157NA for Amber color.
