Curious to what color ceramic coating DTH will be using.... do they offer color ceramics?

Also curious if any other companies had been contacted about the golden opportunity of making headers for the 100 series LC.... Flowtech, Hooker, Hedman, JBA?

I heart JBA.

Because I am broke as service writer, will these be available after the 20 mark is hit or am I SOL?

I would believe so because they would keep the schematics in their computer database always being able to remake.... I assume to make more money :D

I've contacted a few other companies including JBA in cali... waiting to hear back. Just want to know all of our possible options & prices.

I've contacted Holley and Flowtech and they both said they don't make custom headers.... bunch a weenies

9. siglo (questions answered, modifications response from siglo)

Most of the things I have (solenid, switch, aux fuse box, etc.) would probably be easy to relocate if it got in the way except the water fill hose for the water tank. I have it running from next to the factory fuse box down next to the exhaust the along the driver side frame rail. The insulation I have around the hose in some parts is touching the exhaust in a couple of places and it's a tight fit. I also have a heat exchanger I didn't manage to install yet but I don't think it'll get in the way. It would be a pain to relocate the water hose if I had to but I'm still in.

its nice to hear that theyd still possibly offer these headers after the 20 list. I dint wna put myself down on the list and then kill it for everyone cos I cant give my 643 right now:censor:

This is just my assumption, I don't see why they wouldn't continue manufacturing them for future sales?

Why, do you want RED to match your freakin wheels? Who cares what color it is, you cant see it. They should be black if anything.

JBA was contacted along with a few others, they didnt have interest. JBA was the closest, they were willing to send me a tundra pair to test fit, didnt care to adjust what they had though to fit the 100.

If you feel a different company should be doing it, get on your keyboard and start shooting emails, it's not hard.

I heart JBA.

Maybe you can ignite an interest within JBA that I was unable to, after speaking with them on several occasions. Give em a call.

I'm gonna assume here that the 20 is to get the R&D covered, and then they can probably do smaller, 5-10 batches as needed.

If it fits with the stock exhaust, especially on the drivers side, you'll probably be ok. It's not replacing the whole thing, just the very beginning. You can see the exhaust manifolds end if you look by the firewall, from either up in the engine bay or underneath.

haha... to remind me that they are hot, of course :D

I contacted a bunch of companies! including Pace Setter in AZ

I love and had JBA on all my mustangs/Saleen's, but if someone has this in the works and is close I am not going to be that guy that kills their hard word.

I have never put headers on anything never than '93 and I think that ball has started more than just a roll here.

Ok I am in at 642 Shipped.

Doug said R&D was 1500 to 2000 and that split by 20 was better than split by 12 (at the time).

Shipping is not included.

We need a loaner vehicle in Cali.

Email Jonathon at TLc and see if he would be interested. He might even have or can get the loaner and make up the other missing orders.

Just a thought, jw@icon4x4.com

Stick my name in there and the thread link so he can read it.
