Had an order of springhangers once that hadn't been delivered after about 2 weeks. He offered to ship out a new set set and I asked if he would use FedEx or UPS and just paypal request me for the extra shipping. 2 days later the parts showed up but I had not been billed. I called and he said not to worry about it since they were a reship. USPS found the original package in a ditch later.

DAN RULES!

I agree, hes the man. I run his bead locks (no rings, they work fine) and his disk break brackets. funny about the rear brackets:

I had bought a set of older brackets that were unused from a buddy. I gave dan a call and explained I was looking for the calipers that fit them and that he had made them a LONG time before. He said put them in a box, send em back and another set of updated ones will follow. These are the ones he sells now, that fit a taco caliper insted of the chevy calipers. He said that had a problem putting a 1/2ton caliper on the BACK of a light weight toyota. makes sence!

RuffStuff will get my $$.
Dan, I think yer gonna make up for eating the $ on those tires, my man. As you should, apparently.
Thanks for posting up a good vendor experience, 4rnr.

I just put in my order for a set of beadlock rings and new u-bolts for my spring pack swap.

Those springs will probably break!!

There really isn't enough of these warm, feel good, fuzzy stories. If retailers/manufacturers are prepared to stand behind their products, then i dont really care how much it costs, its money well spent. Cheers Dan!

i really like reading stories like this. its good to know people still practice customer service and will go out of theyre way to make it right even when the customer is layed back and relaxed.
thats why its so upsetting when people try and take advantage of people like this.

I got the feeling that one of the reasons he was so accomodating is bc I was understanding and cool about it.

More to add:

I had a very disappoint run last Sat, so first thing Sunday, I sit down at my computer and make a list of my new needs:

1) I already have a spare set of 15" steelies in the barn, so I want DIY beadlocks.

2) I need more flotation than my 36X12.5 TSL/SXs provide because they don't flex so hot (even at 2 psi).

SO, I do some research. I've done business with Dan before, so I fire off an email to him about a DIY kit. I about crapped my shorts when I got a reply (this was SUNDAY mind you). So, I call Dan at work and we end up BSing for about 45 mins and I order his kit. He ships first thing Monday morning. Then, I call to get a tracking number yesterday (because I'm impatient), and he's just as cool about that as he can be. SO, the kit arrived about 45 mins after I got the tracking number from Dan (figures, doesn't it?). I go home, grind off the powdercoating on the rims, center the inner ring, and a buddy of mine burns them in. We got started at about 1730 and wrapped up around 2030 (including sweeping out the shop). :D

Thanks, DAN!!!!!!!!!! You've got my business!

sidenote: 37X12.5X15 MT/R will be here today, mounted tomorrow, siped and balanced on Monday. I can't wait!!!!!!

your post sucks without pics

The thread isn't about builds. It's about Dan's outstanding customer service. I don't have any pictures of Dan. Ask him. :flipoff2:
