I just swapped my OEM wheels for 18" Tundra steelies / new rubber on my 2017 LC, and I noticed what looks like old grease on the rear caps (see pictures). Is this any cause for concern?
I don't notice any particular issues while driving, but I was under the impression that there's no regular recommended regreasing interval so I was surprised to see what looks a bit like a mess from sloppy regreasing job. I figure no harm in asking the brain trust.
(And yes, I know those stainless lugs look stupid. I have no idea what the tire shop was thinking. They're replacing them with black next week. Sigh.)
Thanks folks,
Ryan
