I'd like to see some pictures of your Cruiser from 3 angles. Front, side, and rear. It would be very helpful if you have a picture from the rear going along the side panel. I'm currently running some wide 10" wheels with 33x12.50's and I'm going to convert to the stock wheels and 33x10.50s, however I have rear fender flares and I'd like to see how the tire and wheel will line up with the side panel. BTW, can anybody suggest a nice mud tire that comes in 33x10.50?

Woody, is that a stock wheel? Do you have a rear picture running along the side?

When you say stock do you mean OEM? They are just the cheapy steelies. Sorry about pics, low light in garage. They stick out about an inch and a half.

These images are great, thank you! Yes I did meant OEM, I think your steelies might have a different offset. If someone is running OEM's and the 10.5's I'd like to see them. Again, if you can send me the angle WC sent, it would be appreciated.

How much lift to run the 33s?

I'm running a 3" lift. I can fit 35's if I wanted to. Well at one time I did.

I know what your asking here. The 10.50's line up just right with stock steel OEM rims. They are about even with the sheetmetal. If you have flares like you say, it will look goofy as the flares will over hang the tires by however wide they are. I had this same issue so I used spacers to make it look "right".

Hope that helps.

thecrazygreek is right. They line up even with the body. They will look goofy with flares unless you use spacers.

Here is the money shot:

These are BFG mud terains on 15x5.5 oem steel wheels.

..... these are 60 chrome steelies ... but same width and offset as stock.

Your truck looks great. I am not sure how wide the OP's flares are. Also, I am almost positive that the 60 series 6 spoke wheels are 15x6 instead of 15x5.5. That is not much difference. But if the backspacing is the same, then the full 1/2" is towards the outside. Not sure which OEM steelies the OP is talking about.

33x 10.5x 15

Have 33x10.5 x15 MT's on 7" wide rims with 3.5'' back space. Springs are stock sagged with 1" extended shackles. Some rub on the steering drop arm. Adjusted the stops on the front axle and now no rub. Didn't take much.
With OEM wheels the centre of the tire will be be slightly inboard compare to 7" rims. The back spacing stock think is 3.25"
Thecrazygeek shot is most like mine, however they don't rub with 7" wide rims at the rear with no fender flares. So they shouldn't rub with 5.5" OEM wheels, unless the axle isn't centered in the inner fender.Agree that if the wheel doesn't fill the fender flare it looks goofy from the rear. Tucker74's shot is not typical because of the angles. Just sitting on flat ground from the rear looks goofy with fender flares and stock wheels with 33"s IMHO.

Thanks jb

I'm not sure exactly how they measure rim width, but the set of stock disk steel wheels I have in the garage measure 7" from outer edge to outer edge. I know the 60 series are stamped 15"x6", I just assumed they got that from bead to bead?

Here she sits as of today, the current steel wheels are 15x10's and my flares are around 2" using an eye gauge. i have the OEM wheels now but haven't purchased the tires yet. I was even thinking of replacing the cut sheet metal although very costly. This is the second time I've heard about spacers and if the spacers are going to leave me with a wider stance well I'm all for more stability on and off the road.
I'm going to sell these wheels and tires after I get my other tires. 98%+ tread left and includes a matching spare FYI

It's too bad you don't live closer. Those look really good on your truck, and would look good on mine too.:D
