I was thinking more of a cradle (to pack up on my future roof rack), probably made of Al, with telescoping legs.
And BTW - you've been added to the my gf's 'when she gets a bazooka' list (it's a short list, only consisting of Onur's name until today). Decided I'm going to enroll in a welding class 100%. After watching you with my bumper build and that DAMN trailer frame. . .just can't stand it. Saw the prices on Al equipment. . .already talked to one of my ortho partners. . .he's joining me in this venture!
enjoy the weekend. . .

It is a fun trade, but a very dedicated one...
Buy my same set-up with a MP/TP transformer or a 350P with an ALumina XL gun and then you can pretty much weld to any process (SMAW), GMAW or (P), GTAW or (P), metal and grade, and pretty much any metal thickness you want..
Tell Mel I said hello and it could be much worse.....SHE REALLY DOESN'T WANT TO KNOW HOW OR WHY... If @beno is on the list.. HELL, I'M JUST FINE with being there TOO...
Cheers,
J
