i'm on the lookout for one with a great body, but a dead engine....I'd be dropping a vortec into it. :)....you're 80, I'm sure is mechanically way too maintained for that type of treatment. :)

Mine hates the diesel.. She said a little growl in the exhaust is acceptable, but the constant "noise" is aggravating...

So she gets a desmogged 2F and a 50 series Flowmaster on her 40... :lol::lol:

Thanks Danny, ONE DAY!!! MAYBE...

Only thing I've done to Goss lately is install a trickle on-board battery charger and CONSTANTLY move him in/out of the shop for the 80 FAB, deliveries and freight shipments....

When I get some free time I'm going to strip the 40 in the shop down to the frame and try to start playing with it..

TOO MANY PROJECTS HA!

Funny, I have busted my butt for the last 5-6 months with Trail-Tailor... (HAD A BLAST MAKING BUMPERS) BUT when the numbers are all in..... I could have made the exact same money working for 3 weeks in my old Oil and Gas position... HMMM... 3 weeks $$$ vs. 6 months $$$..... = same $$$... NO BRAINER HERE!

Mike, I appreciate that. You were one of my favorite customers...

One of the reasons for my recent decision to move on is that I more or less got screwed recently... Starting off... Paypal is the easiest way to collect money.. WELL to find out... it is the easiest way for a business owner to get screwed by the public as well... I'm not naming anyone, but your time will come (you sorry MF)..... I put everything into my work and when I get screwed it ruins it for everyone else.

Life is too short and I just want to relax for a little while and just be.

I may build some one-off products in the future for people I truly know... But, no one else will ever screw me again or get to experience me or my products....

Well, doing what you love / makes you happy and pays the bills is a rare combo. You're not going back to the petro bureaucrazy are ya?
