Very cool!!! But isn't it a bit close to the tire?

WELL YES... FOR PEOPLE THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND... this it just a stow point... Its made to pull off, cook, cool off and then be re-attached for trailing....

Short legs will be added for tabletop or ground cooking...

Dammit J. I'm already broke and Christmas is around the corner. Stop making stuff that I want.

That looks really good :clap::clap:

Awesome BBQ. Love that.

J, if you could make the "tongue" for the bbq extendable/retractable, then you wouldn't need legs. Simply slide it out away from the truck when cooking, then when it's cool, collapse the tongue and store on the bumper swingout. With a truck built up like that, it's not a guarantee that where you camp has a bunch of level ground space.

J, really dig the hitch-Q. Any plans for a cover? I know the back of my rig can get pretty dirty on trips.

Mike, haven't thought about that, but its a good idea. Might look into it if they sell. I'd say this is for less than 1% of the addicts out there... :smokin:

Maybe go with 2" to 1 1/2" might be able to get it 10-12" further away. I need to start lightening this bad boy up.. My rig can handle all the rear weight, but others will need to add springs to tote this monster around.

@boots4 and @GLTHFJ60 ... Should I put the new project in the Hardcore Section?

'68 FJ40 that I will stretch the frame on and make into an extended cab truck...

I have been rat holing parts and got the powerplant rolled into the shop, I will soon strip it down to the frame and get going.

J

Either hardcore (I think it would qualify) or the 40 section. 40 section may have more traffic which could be better for business, but it would probably stay more on top if you put it in the hardcore section.

Cool!! :)
