Man you guys know how to make a guy feel like a slacker. I'm back from annual training, but I have my son for a week. So I should be regeared hopefully next weekend if Edwin lets me use his shop.

I wish our "shop" was that clean... way too many mowers, tractors, old tools, granddaddy long legs, etc. We should just get rid of most of it :hmm:
Trucks are looking great, bud :)

P, It still needs a once over to get it where I want it and things placed.. Still need to build my new table and get the pedestal build for the new JD Squared bender.. Just need a little more time.

Mike, no need to feel like a slacker.. I just told Johnny how much of a slacker I was after seeing his thread on Moonshine. It'll all get where it needs to be in due time.

Cheers,

J

Got the door on and aligned. A quick shot of the bumper shells stacked and the shop fridge partially stocked for a few days. However, Monday is A's B-Day and she just stated she'd like to run to Vegas for a few nights. Twist my arm, lets ROLL! Screws with my plans a little, but WTH.. It'll be fun!

Win enough in LV for all of us J :D

Safe travels! And hit the jackpot. I am surprising my Princess with a Vegas concert for her birthday in August.

Ahh Vegas. I went streaking there once. I was still a marine so nobody messed with me. Don't think I can pull that off nowadays

Mike, that thought will haunt my dreams forever... HA!

Good for you J, she'll appreciate that.

Please, for the love of god, chain those bottles, if they aren't already.

Wow I was late on this. Bottles as in gas bottles in your shop.

All cylinders are chained to the cart, strapped to dolly or tied off... Been playing this game for TOO LONG not to make safety my first priority... Thanks for checking though... now if you are talking about the beer in the fridge... I'll have to figure out a securing method... May have to drink it all before an idea hits me though...

J, have a good trip to Vegas. Should be fun and if you get a chance try Carmine's NYC (think it is open now) the original in NYC is INCREDIBLE food and we just heard they were getting ready to open one in Vegas somewhere on the strip.

Oh, and a couple beers to add to the list in there (if you like IPAs) I the Ninkasi IPA and Des Schutes PineDrop IPA. I am normally more of a dark beer guy but like the good IPA or Belgian here and there and both of those are exceptional beers.

Yes, it is open. We have heard it is incredible. However, at 110F, hot and heavy Italian food doesn't seem to be on our agenda. We really like sushi and seafood, so we stick with it mostly.

We have had countless beers and many cold drinks with little umbrellas in the them HA!..

Highlight of the trip so far was a nice cigar and glass of JW blue last night.. AAAHHHH! And still being even on money.

J

LOL.. that is awesome! And you definitely can't complain about a good cigar and bourbon!
It has definitely been hot here lately so I can only imagine what LV is like.

The blue is a little snobbish/pricey for what you get IMO.. JW Green is my kind of scotch personally. It will be nice to get back home to the 70F weather again... We leave tomorrow.

A few goodies arrived last night. Destaco double lock toggles and 7/8" shackles.. (yes, some are for Trail-Tailor builds/customers) and a couple of my solid spindles.

Table is almost done and I will get it and my bender dolly knocked out tomorrow. Hope to have the rear bumper mocked up by end of day tomorrow as well.

That table is sexy...All that space on top for things...lol

Thanks P, the grate area is 30" x 36", I have a plasma tracing pantograph that will work good there and when not in use I have a full 4' x 8' table to layout and work on. Future plans are to build a steel flue/trap to catch debris, but for now a cheap $20 steel trash can will work. Right now the table weighs about 850#s

Also nice to be able to wheel the table where ever I want and makes cleaning easier.

J

Yeah, my 2 little plastic sawhorses leaves something to be desired haha.
