Replaced the wheels on the 80 yesterday. Method had sent these to Goose Gear a few years ago so I could show them in the booth at Overland Expo in Flagstaff. They incorrectly bored them so they were too small. I finally got them machined. Similar to what I had, but these have the beed grip on them. If anyone is interested in my old ones DM me. I will give you a good deal.

I have now decided to sell the GG80. I have enjoyed the six years I've owned it, but I have put less than a thousand miles on it the last two years. It is time for someone else to appreciate and enjoy this Land Cruiser. To get it ready to sell I had it repainted to repair dents and dings so it's near perfect for the next owner. It will be up on BAT soon but interested buyers can DM me.

Curious, what are you going to replace it with?

I'm not going to replace it. I'm not an off-roader per se. I bought this for overlanding. I like to constantly do explore new areas. Being in California, I have done most of the areas that are within reasonable driving distance. The areas after that become expensive because of fuel prices to get to. Moreover, I am less than 10 years from retirement and I want to take the money from this sale and invest it towards that. A friend of mine bought a Ford Raptor for his business and I will use that when I want to go camping with him.

I have derived a lot of pleasure on bringing this LC back to good condition. I have put a lot of work into fixing many small details and issues (as well as large). I can see why people get addicted to restoring and selling vehicles.

A shame you left the hood black.
IMO it will hurt resale.

Good luck with the sale.
