Has anyone put a Gturbo on an 80 series 1HDT engine with 3" exhaust and Safari air to air intercooler? That is the setup I am looking at and would love to know what boost you could push it too as long as you watch EGTs. What power and torque could you get out of it? I see people using a very wide range of boosts here. Cheers.
I have this setup, and I use 1,35 bar. Very happy with this setup.
I have not taken any dyno test, but it is extremely different engine now![]()
Did you try any higher boosts? What was your experience?

Has it had the diff gearing changed? I really can't be bothered myself. To correct the speedo I had a thing installed to the speedo cable to compensate. It is much slower to accelerate of course.
Well that's not all that crash hot then. 201 with 35 muds is the go.
